Privacy

This policy describes how Casken inc. (“Casken”, “we”) handles personal information collected through casken.ca. The delivery of the Casken system to our clients is governed by separate agreements, which carry their own confidentiality commitments.

1 · What we collect

• What you send us. If you write to us (acces@casken.ca), we receive your name, your email address and the content of your message.
• Access requests and meetings. Scheduling goes through Calendly (name, email, answers provided); your use of Calendly is also governed by its own privacy policy.
• Hosting logs. Our host (Google Firebase Hosting) records standard technical data — IP address, browser type, pages requested, timestamps — for security and operations.

The site uses no tracking cookies, no advertising tools, and no audience analytics. Fonts are served from our own servers — no request is sent to a third-party provider during your visit.

2 · Why we use it

• To answer your requests and schedule the meetings you ask for;
• To operate, secure and improve the site;
• To meet our legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal information and do not share it with anyone for advertising or marketing purposes.

3 · Who has access

Our providers — Google (hosting: Firebase / Google Cloud) and Calendly (scheduling) — process certain data solely for the purposes described above. These providers may store or route data outside Québec; we take this into account when choosing and evaluating our tools. No one else has access, unless the law requires it.

4 · Retention

We keep your messages and requests for as long as needed to follow up on the relationship, then delete or anonymize them. Hosting logs are kept for a limited time.

5 · Your rights

Under Québec law (Law 25), you may:

• access the personal information we hold about you;
• have it corrected if it is inaccurate or incomplete;
• withdraw your consent to its use;
• file a complaint with the Commission d’accès à l’information du Québec.

6 · Updates

We may update this policy; the date at the top of the page prevails. Any material change will be flagged on the site.
